The research is grounded in the fact that, despite Lombok’s abundant natural resources and strong tourism potential, the sector has yet to become a primary economic driver. Similarly, local culinary heritage—which holds substantial appeal for tourists—has not been strategically leveraged by formal institutions through digital platforms. Adopting a descriptive qualitative approach, data collection was carried out through digital observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of social media content. Informants were selected using purposive sampling based on their active engagement in producing Lombok culinary content and their involvement in digital tourism promotion. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Lombok culinary content circulating on social media predominantly features iconic dishes such as ayam taliwang, plecing kangkung, and sate rembiga. Most widely shared content is created by non-formal actors, including food vloggers and individual travelers, while contributions from formal stakeholders remain minimal. This study, therefore, recommends the need for cross-sector collaboration to maximize the role of social media in enhancing culinary promotion and strengthening Lombok’s tourism image.
I Wayan Astraguna Komang Reza Kartika I Made Ngurah Oka Mahardika ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-08-08 2025-08-08 4 1 1 11 10.53977/pyt.v4i1.2780 ABB TOURISM FRAMING IN IDENTIFYING TOURISM POTENTIAL IN TANAKEKE ISLANDS, TAKALAR REGENCY http://e-journal.iahn-gdepudja.ac.id/index.php/pyt/article/view/2445
This research aims to identify the tourism potential of the islands in Tanakeke, Takalar Regency which is located in the southern part of South Sulawesi with the framing of Natural, Cultural and Artificial (ABB) tourism. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach. The research was conducted by means of: observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that there were 3 (three) indicators of tourism potential identification including: (1) Identification of natural tourism potential (beaches, seas, lakes, fisheries, ponds, seagrass beds, mangrove forests, plantations / fields, farms, coral reefs, and seaweed). Various types of natural tourism potential that exist and are scattered in almost all areas of the Tanakeke islands are a great potential as a basis for the development of various types of tourism activities both natural tourism, water tourism, educational tourism, agro-tourism to sports tourism; (2) Identification of cultural tourism potential (arts, traditions, crafts, livelihoods, culinary, cultural festivals, historic buildings / buildings, historical relics, traditional equipment & technology systems, and other cultural elements). Various types of cultural tourism potential that exist and are scattered in almost all areas of the Tanakeke islands are a great potential as a basis for the development of various types of tourism activities both historical tourism, cultural tourism, culinary, to events and festivals; (3) Identification of artificial tourism potential of all things created by humans by utilizing the potential of nature or the surrounding environment, for the purpose of recreation and entertainment as well as adding to the travel experience. After identifying tourism potential properly through ABB tourism framing, this can be used as a basis for managing and developing various types of tourism. In terms of management, coordination should be carried out with various parties and related stakeholders to provide basic knowledge about tourism for all villagers on the Tanakeke islands which can then be followed up by providing further action in the form of assistance by providing education, training, skills development for villagers.
Nasrullah - Nasrullah Syamsul Alam Paturusi I Made Adikampana I Putu Anom ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-08-08 2025-08-08 4 1 12 23 10.53977/pyt.v4i1.2445 PENGEMBANGAN SILABUS MATERI AJAR BAHASA JEPANG UNTUK MENDUKUNG PEMBANGUNAN INDONESIA EMAS 2045 PADA SEKTOR PARIWISATA http://e-journal.iahn-gdepudja.ac.id/index.php/pyt/article/view/2816
Development of Syllabus that focused on language competence development and an industry-oriented curriculum to support Indonesia’s Golden Era 2045 in the tourism sector is important to do. The syllabus development takes into account aspects of globalization, international competition, and workforce competitiveness. This research utilizes the 4D model of Thiagarajan’s Research and Development method, with data collected through structured interviews, participatory observation, questionnaires, expert validation, and teaching trials. Needs analysis results indicate that the materials taught so far have been limited to characters and grammar, without direction towards the tourism industry. Additionally, the number of credits (SKS) provided has been insufficient, making it difficult to integrate Japanese culture and language into the learning process. Based on data analyzed using Gregory’s formula, the syllabus was found to have very high validity from experts with a score of 12/12=1, indicating that further development is highly feasible. The implementation feasibility reached 99.13%, showing that this syllabus is highly suitable for use in Japanese language teaching. This syllabus has the potential to strengthen sustainable tourism human resources, improve students' Japanese language competence, and enhance their competitiveness in facing Indonesia’s Golden Era 2045 in the tourism sector.
Ni Putu Sasmika Dewi ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-08-08 2025-08-08 4 1 24 32 10.53977/pyt.v4i1.2816 STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN EKOWISATA BERKELANJUTAN DI KALIMANTAN TENGAH: TINJAUAN KONSEPTUAL DAN EMPIRIS http://e-journal.iahn-gdepudja.ac.id/index.php/pyt/article/view/2836
Ecotourism is a form of sustainable tourism that emphasizes environmental conservation and the enhancement of local community welfare. This article explores the development of ecotourism in Central Kalimantan using a literature review approach to examine its potential, challenges, and strategies through collaborative and digital-based models. Central Kalimantan possesses rich biodiversity, distinctive local culture, and conservation areas such as Tanjung Puting and Sebangau National Parks, making it a promising region for ecotourism development. The study reveals existing gaps between policy, implementation, and community participation. Therefore, a shift is needed from a top-down to an integrative approach involving government, local communities, private sector, academia, and digital technology utilization. This model is believed to enhance the ecological, social, and economic resilience of local communities. The article contributes theoretically to the discourse of ecotourism management and provides practical policy implications to support the development of locally-based, adaptive, and sustainable tourism destinations. The findings highlight that the success of ecotourism strongly relies on multi-stakeholder synergy and strategically integrated digital adoption.

Keywords : Development, Ecotourism, Sustainable.
Putu Wisnu Saputra ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-08-08 2025-08-08 4 1 33 43 10.53977/pyt.v4i1.2836 PENGAJARAN YOGA OLEH INSTRUKTUR LOMBOK YOGA CENTER SEBAGAI DAYA TARIK WISATA WELLNESS DI LOMBOK http://e-journal.iahn-gdepudja.ac.id/index.php/pyt/article/view/2794
Lombok Yoga Center is a local institution that plays a vital role in supporting the development of yoga as part of wellness tourism in Lombok, consistently sending yoga instructors to teach in various hotels and resorts. However, there are not many studies that specifically investigate the implementation of yoga training that is conducted. The purpose of this research is to deeply explore the practices, challenges, and strategies of the instructors at Lombok Yoga Center who teach tourists in hotels and resorts in Lombok. This research uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews with 5 instructors from the Lombok Yoga Center, and documentation studies. Data analysis applies the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study show that the yoga teaching practices by instructors at the Lombok Yoga Center are flexible and adaptive, adjusting to the backgrounds and needs of tourists. Several aspects considered challenges by the instructors include adjusting fees to tourists' expectations, cultural differences among tourists, and maintaining participants' attention during classes. To maintain the quality of the classes, instructors implement several strategies focusing on personal approach, communication, flexibility, and professionalism.
Wayan Ayumita Astrina Ida Kade Suparta Dewi Kusumasanthi ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-08-08 2025-08-08 4 1 44 53 10.53977/pyt.v4i1.2794
