The study focuses on handling movement disharmony in traditional ceremonial dance caused by communication barriers and dancer competence gaps. This article aims to analyze the effectiveness of Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling (POAC) management functions and interpersonal communication approaches in resolving these constraints. The method used is descriptive qualitative through participatory observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Research findings indicate that the integration of disciplined strategic management with empathetic and supportive communication patterns successfully reduced prejudice and semantic noise in the training room. Consequently, group movement synchronization significantly improved in aspects of wiraga, wirahma, and wirasa. Through unique rhythmic variations at each procession stage, Dol serves not only as musical accompaniment but also as a ritual phase marker, a means of non-verbal communication, and a symbol of Bengkulu's cultural identity. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach involving detailed interviews with the Head of the Bengkulu Pavilion at TMII and a review of literature, this research reveals that Dol music has interconnected roles: regulating the procession's rhythm, creating a collective emotional atmosphere, and instilling cultural values through firsthand experience. Nevertheless, a gap in understanding persists among the younger generation, who frequently view Dol merely as a performance. This study underscores the need to enhance cultural education and leverage digital media to ensure the tradition's continuity. The findings suggest that Dol is a vibrant cultural element that links ritual meaning, social cohesion, and the preservation of community identity.

2026-03-31T00:00:00+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://e-journal.iahn-gdepudja.ac.id/index.php/JWS/article/view/3282Analisis Literatur Implementasi Pembelajaran Seni Rupa Dalam Meningkatkan Apresiasi Siswa Sekolah Dasar2026-08-10T00:16:46+07:00Fatimah Azzahraazzahfatimah286@gmail.comHimatul Azkahimatul.azka@mhs.uingusdur.ac.idBintan Karima Faidabintan.karima.faida@mhs.uingusdur.ac.idSalma Fitriani Novandasalma.fitriani.novanda@mhs.uingusdur.ac.id
Fine arts education at the elementary school level is an important part of shaping students' personalities, aesthetic sensitivity, and creativity. This study examines the historical development of Balinese gamelan, compares it with Javanese gamelan, and analyzes the influence of modernity on the transformation of its instruments and musical aesthetics. Using a qualitative method through interviews with Balinese artists at TMII and library research, this study finds that Balinese gamelan has undergone significant evolution both in its musical structure and organological aspects. Unlike Javanese gamelan, which tends to preserve its traditional form, Balinese gamelan has evolved more rapidly due to the expressive and adaptive cultural characteristics of Balinese society. Modernity accelerates these changes through the influence of technology, tourism, and global artistic interactions. This study concludes that Balinese gamelan is able to maintain its traditional identity while simultaneously adapting to the demands of contemporary artistic development.
2026-03-31T00:00:00+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://e-journal.iahn-gdepudja.ac.id/index.php/JWS/article/view/4290A Conceptual Analysis of the Integration of Panca Cinta into the Love-Based Curriculum at Pratama Widyalaya Educational Institutions2026-08-10T00:18:33+07:00Ida Bagus Alit Arta Wigunagusarta@iahn-gdepudja.ac.idI Gusti Komang Kembarawangusarta@iahn-gdepudja.ac.idSri Sofiana Amnigusarta@iahn-gdepudja.ac.idI Made Partha Wigunagusarta@iahn-gdepudja.ac.id
This research departs from the need to strengthen the Hindu early childhood education curriculum, which is not only oriented to academic achievements but also to character formation, spirituality, social concern, and ecological awareness. This article aims to conceptually analyze the integration of the Five Loves in the Love-Based Curriculum in Pratama Widyalaya. The Five Loves include Love for God, Love for Knowledge, Love for the Environment, Love for Self and Fellow Humans, and Love for the Homeland. This study uses a literature review method with a qualitative descriptive approach and content analysis. The sources of the study include love-based curriculum documents and Widyalaya regulations, as well as scientific articles related to character education, humanistic education, Hindu education, and early childhood education. The conceptual hypothesis of this study states that the integration of Panca Cinta can strengthen early childhood character education if these values are translated into learning objectives, play experiences, daily habits, educational unit culture, and evaluation of child development. The results of the study show that Panca Cinta serves as an integrative framework that brings together general education, Hindu distinctiveness, character education, and humanistic approaches. The contribution of this article lies in the preparation of a conceptual model of Panca Cinta integration that is specific to Pratama Widyalaya. These findings are important as the basis for the development of a religious, humanist, ecological, inclusive, and contextual Hindu early childhood curriculum.
2026-04-30T00:00:00+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
