Learning is aimed at mastering basic knowledge and skills and fostering expression, attitudes, and the child's interest in learning. The child's learning interest can be influenced by internal and external factors, such as encouragement from within the child and the surrounding environment. One of the issues in early childhood learning is the lack of learning interest, which can be caused by internal and external factors. Learning interest, as an individual's inclination towards something desirable, has a significant impact on a child's learning achievement. Therefore, it is important to create an enjoyable learning environment that stimulates the child's interest. Collage media is one form of learning activity that can enhance creativity and learning interest in children. Collage activities allow children to express themselves creatively by combining various materials, such as paper, fabric, colors, and shapes. The creativity of children can be developed from an early age, and this creativity can help them overcome various challenges in life. This research adopts the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach with 25 students from TK A Pratama Widya Pasraman Adnyani as research subjects. Through continuous actions, the use of collage media successfully increased the children's learning interest significantly. The research results indicate that children showed a positive response to college activities, and their learning interest increased significantly after the implementation of actions.

Nyoman Wiraadi Tria Ariani Putu Ayu Septiari Dewi Ni Luh Sukriani Ni Kadek Intan Sukasih ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-09-22 2025-09-22 5 1 1 15 10.53977/kumarottama.v5i1.2339 Efektivitas Metode Tucker Turtle Dalam Menstimulasi Kemampuan Regulasi Emosi Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun https://e-journal.iahn-gdepudja.ac.id/index.php/kumarottama/article/view/2366
Emotion regulation is a child's ability to recognize, understand, and express emotions adaptively. In children aged 5-6 years, the inability to manage emotions can trigger behavioral problems, adaptation difficulties, and obstacles in the learning process. The situation in the field shows that many preschool children often experience tantrums, have difficulty cooperating, or overreact when facing conflicts. This study aims to observe the effectiveness of the Tucker Turtle method in stimulating children's emotion regulation skills. The application of the Tucker Turtle method has not been widely explored as well as the use of effect size analysis to measure the practical impact of the intervention. The study used a quasi-experimental design, involving an experimental group (Tucker Turtle method intervention) and a control group (conventional method). Data collection techniques were carried out through pre-test and post-test observations, then analyzed using independent t-test and effect size test. The results showed that based on the independent t-test (p = 0.54), there was no statistically significant difference. However, the effect size of 0.924 indicated a large practical impact. The conclusion of the study confirmed that the Tucker Turtle method can be an alternative to stimulate children's ability to manage their emotions compared to conventional methods.
Az-Zahra Nur'Afiah Mirawati Mirawati Muh. This article aims to analyze the role of transformational leadership and cultural literacy in efforts to improve school welfare at the PAUD level. The hypothesis proposed states that the integration of transformational leadership and cultural literacy makes a positive contribution to the creation of a prosperous school environment. This research applies a qualitative approach with a case study design carried out at PAUD IT Insan Madani, Madiun Regency. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation of nine informants who were selected purposively. The results of the study show that transformational leadership is able to create a work climate that supports teacher collaboration, empowerment, and innovation, while cultural literacy instills the values of local wisdom in the children's learning process. The synergy between the two strengthens the school's identity and forms sustainable welfare. This article contributes to the development of culture-based leadership models in early childhood education as a strategic approach in creating a healthy, adaptive, and meaningful educational ecosystem. These findings are important as a foothold in designing policies and leadership practices that are responsive to the local context and emotional needs of school residents
Suryaningsih Suryaningsih Yudithia Dian Putra Ahmad Yusuf Sobri ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-09-22 2025-09-22 5 1 33 43 10.53977/kumarottama.v5i1.2471 Strategi Guru PAUD Mengatasi Keterbatasan Alat Permainan Edukatif untuk Perkembangan Anak Di TK NUR ALIFA https://e-journal.iahn-gdepudja.ac.id/index.php/kumarottama/article/view/2539
Meskipun para pendidik telah mengetahui bahwa pendekatan yang tepat bagi anak di masa emasnya adalah dengan bermain yang disebut dengan mainan edukatif (Edu-Toys). In addition to impacting delayed physical growth, stunting also has implications for children's brain and cognitive development, which is characterized by low IQ scores, language delays, and reduced problem-solving skills. This study aims to analyze how sensory modalities can be used to stimulate the brains of stunted children in Mataram, focusing on strategies applied by teachers and parents. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with a phenomenological design, involving six stunted children at Dwijendra Mataram Kindergarten, as well as supporting data from teachers and parents through observation, structured interviews, documentation, and simple questionnaires. The results indicated that stunted children responded more slowly to visual and auditory tasks but were more adaptive to tactile and kinesthetic stimulation, while 70% of teachers had never received special training and 65% of parents did not understand the importance of sensory-based brain stimulation. These findings confirm that stunting in Mataram is not only influenced by malnutrition, but also by limited stimulation of the human senses, namely the senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. both at school and at home. The originality of this research lies in the introduction of the concept of modality task fit, which emphasizes the importance of choosing the type of stimulation according to the strength of the sensory pathway of stunted children. This concept contributes to early childhood education and public health by offering a precise, systematic, and effective intervention framework. The study's conclusions emphasized the importance of combining nutritional improvement with multi-sensory-based brain stimulation to optimize the cognitive development of stunted children.
Siti Zaenab Ida Bagus Alit Arta Wiguna ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-09-22 2025-09-22 5 1 84 94 10.53977/kumarottama.v5i1.2943
