Author Guidelines
Samvada: Jurnal Riset Komunikasi, Media, Dan Public Relation
- The article is an original work by the author(s) and team based on research findings, which has not been and will not be published in any media.
- The article is free from plagiarism, including self-plagiarism (the article is independently reviewed by anti-plagiarism software such as Turnitin or Ithenticate).
- This article contains research related to communication (see focus and scope).
- The article is written in both Indonesian and English, with a word count of 6000-7500 words, Times New Roman 12, 1.5 line spacing, A4 size, and normal margins (2.54 cm).
- The title should contain no more than 12 words, without abbreviations, in Times New Roman 14-point font, capitalized, bold, centered, with 1.5 line spacing, and without subheadings or punctuation marks.
- The names of all authors should be written in full, without abbreviations or titles, in Times New Roman 12-point font, capitalized for each word, bold, centered, with 1.5 line spacing.
- The name of each author’s institution should only include the name of the university or company (without abbreviations, faculty, department, or division details).
- Correspondence for the main author should be written as a footnote on the first page, consisting of: full name, title, institution, institution address, and email.
- Authors must use an appropriate email address. Example of an inappropriate email: sicantikmira@gmail.com.
- The abstract should be written in essay form, consisting of an introduction, objectives, methods, and conclusions, in one (1) paragraph, Times New Roman 10-point font, 1.5 line spacing, justified, 200-250 words, without numbering, and written in both Indonesian and English.
- Keywords should consist of 5 relevant words/phrases.
- The manuscript should be 6000-7500 words long, without numbering.
Footnotes are not allowed; authors must incorporate them into the body text.
Quotes longer than 3 lines or 40 words should be written in block quotation style (1.5 line spacing with an indented margin). - Each paragraph should be indented with 7 spaces, consisting of at least 2 sentences, with 1.5 line spacing, justified, and in 12-point Times New Roman font.
- The manuscript should only consist of the following sections: INTRODUCTION, RESEARCH METHODS, RESULTS AND DISCUSSION, CONCLUSION, and REFERENCES.
- Subsections that do not fall under these points above are not permitted. Subsections should be written with 1.5 line spacing, capitalized, Times New Roman 12-point font, bold, and with a left margin.
