Kerukunan Pemeluk Hindu Dan Islam Dalam Pelaksanaan Ritual Di Pura Penataran Agung Dalem Jawa Desa Bunutin Bangli
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the model of harmony between Hindus and Muslims in the implementation of rituals at Penataran Agung Dalem Jawa Temple, Bunutin Village. This study focuses on the implementation of religious rituals, the model of implementing Hindu and Islamic rituals, and the preservation of these ritual traditions in the midst of globalization. This research is designed in a qualitative descriptive type. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data was tested through source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of the study show that the harmony of Hindus and Muslims in Penataran Agung Dalem Jawa Temple is implemented through ritual practices in the shrine in the temple area and the taboo of using pork in certain rituals. The evolving ritual model shows the cultural acculturation between Balinese Hindu traditions and Islamic values without losing the identity of each religion. Religious rituals not only function as spiritual activities, but also as a medium of social integration and cultural communication of the community. The defense of Hindu and Islamic rituals in the era of globalization is carried out through the inheritance of cultural values to the younger generation, the consistent implementation of rituals, and the involvement of the community in traditional and religious activities. This study concludes that Penataran Agung Dalem Jawa Temple is a representation of religious moderation based on local wisdom that is able to strengthen social harmony in the midst of a multicultural society.
