An The Influence Of Education Level On The Income Of Hindu Household Heads In Karanganyar Village, Tamansari District, Boyolali Regency

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of education level on the income of Hindu household heads in Karanganyar Village, Tamansari District, Boyolali Regency. The research employs a quantitative approach with a causal associative type of research. The population consists of all Hindu household heads in Karanganyar Village totaling 58 people, with a sample of 51 respondents selected using simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through structured interviews using a questionnaire. Data analysis used simple linear regression with classical assumption tests including normality, heteroscedasticity, and linearity tests. The results showed that the education level of Hindu household heads was predominantly at elementary school level (37.25%) with an average income of Rp1,849,941 per month. The regression analysis obtained t count (4.03417) > t table (2.00958 at α=5% and 2.67995 at α=1%), thus Ha is accepted. There is a significant effect between education level and income of Hindu household heads in Karanganyar Village. The higher the formal education level of the household head, the greater the opportunity to obtain better income.
