Pola Asuh Orang Tua Terhadap Kemandirian Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun di TK IL Yasin Kecamatan Kawedanan Kabupaten Magetan
Abstrak
This study aims to describe the influence of parenting patterns on the independence of children aged 4-5 years at Il-Yasin Kindergarten, Kawedanan District, Magetan Regency. Children's independence is an important aspect in the early childhood development stage that is significantly influenced by the parenting patterns applied in the family. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, where data is collected through literature study, observation, and interviews with 11 parents of learners. The results indicated that the majority of parents apply democratic parenting, which is characterized by giving freedom to children within the limits of supervision and adequate emotional support. This parenting style is proven to be effective in fostering children's independence, such as the ability to wear their own clothes, brush their teeth, eat independently, complete school assignments, and be responsible for their choices. This research contributes to strengthening the understanding of the role of parenting in shaping the character of early childhood independence, as well as a reference for parents and educators in developing appropriate parenting practices.
